Many of the states we operate in, including the State of Florida, do not license or regulate furniture assembly businesses as they are classified as handymen; however, a handyman is restricted by state law in the types of tasks that he may perform. Some approved tasks include furniture assembly, product assembly, simple installations, general cleanup, painting, fence repair, trim work and sheet rock or wallboard work.
